Poskom PXM-20BT Plus Portable RX Generator
High-frequency portable X-ray generator
Unprecedented operational freedom and maximum ease of use: the Poskom PXM-20 BT plus is a battery-powered portable X-ray generator, developed to ensure maximum mobility in the field. Thanks to its cordless operation, it is the ideal partner for advanced home radiography, sports medicine, mobile clinics and outdoor applications where access to the power grid is unavailable or limited.
Engineered with an innovative hybrid power system, it interfaces seamlessly with modern flat-panel digital (DR) panels and CR systems. Its compact architecture enables healthcare professionals to perform immediate radiological examinations at the point of care, drastically optimizing diagnostic workflow times.

Portable X-ray Generators
Poskom PXM-20BT Plus
The Poskom PXM-20BT plus combines the versatility of battery technology with a consistent power output of 1.6 kW, capable of operating with a voltage range of 40 to 100 kV and an adjustable current between 12 and 20 mA. Precise mAs exposure control (from 0.4 to 50 mAs) ensures maximum image sharpness while minimizing patient dose. The unit is equipped with a fine-focus X-ray tube of 1.2 mm with an anode heat capacity of 20 kHU, ideal for displaying high-contrast micro-anatomical details.
The system’s technological core is its integrated rechargeable high-efficiency lithium-ion battery, which ensures outstanding autonomy of up to 180 exposures per charge, eliminating dependence on external power outlets. A full recharge takes approximately 2–3 hours thanks to the intelligent charger with automatic voltage compensation. The manual collimator features high-brightness LED guide timing and an integrated dual laser pointer system to instantly and precisely calculate the correct source-to-image distance (SID) to the millimetre.
Despite its clinical-level performance, it maintains an extremely balanced weight of approximately 11.2 kg, housed in a reinforced protective casing sealed to withstand impacts, dust and contamination in the field. The microprocessor console features 15 preset anatomical programs (APR), dedicated battery power indicators and a digital LED display with a 180° reading reversal function to facilitate parameter monitoring from any operating angle.
Complete the system with a digital DR detector
The portable generator can be paired with wireless digital detectors, transforming it into a complete portable digital radiography solution. Direct image acquisition eliminates development times and allows the examination to be viewed immediately on a computer, improving the diagnostic workflow and reducing operating times.
Thanks to its compatibility with the panels offered by IBIS, the system can be configured for human applications, providing high image quality, maximum portability and ease of use.
