VET 20-BT

Battery-powered radiographic unit for equine practice

Total freedom of movement and outstanding performance in the field: the Poskom VET-20BT is a portable battery-powered X-ray generator specifically designed for veterinary radiography. Thanks to its hybrid power supply technology, it enables healthcare professionals to perform high-quality diagnostic examinations anywhere, without the need to rely on power cables or local mains outlets.

Developed to ensure maximum efficiency during mobile use, it integrates seamlessly with the latest flat-panel digital detectors (DR) and CR systems. Its protective casing and extended battery life provide a smooth, continuous workflow, even in the most demanding outdoor clinical environments.

VET-20BT

The Poskom VET-20BT stands out as one of the most compact and lightweight cordless radiographic units on the market, weighing just 7.2 kg including the battery. Equipped with a 1.6 kW high-frequency generator, it offers an adjustable voltage range of up to 90 kV (or 100 kV, depending on the line configuration) and a maximum current of 20 mA.

The system’s technological core is its advanced lithium-polymer battery, which provides outstanding operating autonomy, delivering up to 286 exposures on a single charge. The fast charging cycle allows the battery to reach maximum efficiency in less than 3–4 hours. To ensure maximum precision and millimetre-accurate centring, the generator features a high-brightness manual LED collimator and an efficient integrated dual laser pointer system, ideal for quickly measuring the optimal focal distance (SID), even in bright daylight.

The control console features a digital LED display with a 180° reading reversal function and supports up to 15 preset anatomical memory slots (APR) to speed up kV and mAs parameter selection in the field. Built with a high-strength injection-moulded plastic body and a reinforced steel handle, the structure is sealed to safely withstand external impacts and environmental contamination during transport.
